Hi, thanks Donncha for the plugin.

My question here is, can I use WP Super Cache and still have my ad server OpenX deliver ads dynamically? My intuition says ‘no’ … that once the first page is delivered with whatever ad is loaded in the ad spot, that is the ad that will be delivered always until the cache is cleared and rebuilt. Am I correct?

Perhaps there is something I need to do in order to not have the ad spots cached? So that the ad server will deliver fresh ads as scheduled with every new page load?

Or, perhaps all is good and I don’t need to do anything?! Wouldn’t that be something! 🙂

http://tinyurl.com/awk9t6 is the site I am working on in this respect.

    Many thanks!
    Joe

Ahh, looks like I am in luck …. I am using the OpenX “Single Page Call” …

WordPress gurus ContentRobot published a blog post about using the OpenX single page call invocation code in a WordPress blog, specifically when using the WP SuperCache add on to cache blog pages. I worked with Karen and Dana at ContentRobot to validate this approach and make sure that the OpenX ad server still shows ads at random even when the WordPress pages are cached.

So indeed perhaps this thread shall be RESOLVED.
