Hi, everyone! I’m new to this wonderful tool and learning a lot (after suffering…).

I was trying to customize a little bit of the default theme but at a moment I noticed that my top page didn’t seem to be correctly shown. (Firefox, Windows XP pro)

If I go to whichever archiving page, it’s perfectly shown.

On the top page of index.php, the kubrickbg.jpg is gone, the letters of the sidebar are bigger and the sidebar itself is turned out to be a “bottom”bar.

…And I have just discovered that with IE6 everything is slipped in a strange way…

I don’t have the slightest idea of php but suppose that the personal header and a image I’ve inserted below the sidebar is doing something wrong…?

I’m sorry to ask this stupid question but please tell me anything!

    hello! hola!?
I’d really appreciate if someone could suggest me anything.
I really don’t know what point was wrong though i suppose that some images I’ve inserted were malfunctioning…

Os agradeceria mucho si me pudierais hacer alguna sugerencia… Supongo que algunas imagenes que he puesto estan haciendo algo mal…

if you move the sidebar php call to above the main content and just below the header, does that make a difference?

Hello JaneLitte! Thank you very much for your suggestion. I didn’t even know that it would make such differences.

Now, the problem continues but I find that the posts and the sidebar are somewhat exclusive each other and don’t stay along…
Before I changed the sidebar php call to just below the header, the order was header – posts – sidebar. Now it is header – sidebar – posts (without kubrickbg.jpg as its background)…..

And as for IE, it looks better but still with those slipped header and footer…….

Problem solved. Just changed the call order back to header – posts – sidebar – footer. I don’t know what the problem was.

just a few hours later, the appearance got strange again. i’ve no idea what really is the problem…

Have you altered your CSS style sheet at all?

Create a copy of your CSS style sheet (backup purposes) – just rename it, then upload the original stylesheet for the theme, and see if that makes a difference.

    Another one with this problem,

Keep unpublishing posts till its normal again,

The fault is that one of your posts have tomandy Div tags.
.and that screws up the whole thing

so, from what post did it happen, and rewrite that,
and not in the WYSIWYG editor but the html version

admin -> user -> left corner -> unhide

    I had the same problem:

Hey, there, thank you very much for your answers!
Yeah, in fact, by chance i’ve found those <div> tags in an imported entry. when i just deleted, everything was fixed. Thanks anyway!
