adding wp to a sub domain, wich allready has wp on a "add-on" domain

    Hi. I have a wp blog on this site:
    http://kiljano.se
    which is actually a add-on domain to my http://kiljano.com site –
    http://kiljano.com/kiljano
    so right now i have a wp installation in that place.
    Now I wish to create a site on a subdomain: http://portfolio.kiljano.com
    The directory would be http://kiljano.com/portfolio

    Im having alot of trouble doing this. So far it hasnt worked out.
    I use cpanel an I have created a subdomain for portfolio.kiljano.com
    I have installed the latest wp and added a new user to my database, made a new wp-config file. Somehow it doesnt work.

    I cant use fantastico, its not avalable in my current configuration.
    Please help me, am I missing something??

    do you have a control panel like a cPanel?

    Your site is working fine for me so I take you fixed this?

    I should add that the issue I hade was that i needed to change another thing in my config file. It was because I was using the same database for two wordpress installations, this is what I had to change:
    $table_prefix = ‘wp_’;
    i renamde it to anythin, lite this:
    $table_prefix = ‘wptwo_’;

    solved :-)!
