Using WordPress for a lyrics website. Advice?

    I’m wondering if WordPress could effectively be used to create a lyrics site, possibly with each post being a song lyric. Is there a better alternative or could a CMS like WordPress get the job done?

    I think WP would suit that area good. I can’t think think of any better CMS currently for that.

    Do you think WordPress be capable of handling thousands of posts, each of which would be a song lyric?

    Yes, WP can do what you are asking. Thousands of posts isn’t a problem but it all depends on your hosting plan.

    That said, with the intent of saving you time later, I suggest you do a little research on copyright infringement for song lyrics.
