  • Same problem, the last version of qtranslate generate duplicate content in secondary language tabs, a real disaster! Please fix that bug.

You can try to deactivate and reactivate the plugin qTranslate.

I have the same issue, but only when embed the image for the content.. So don’t embed any image, do it only at the last time, before to publish the article.

Thank’s for the help Zheny, but it does not work for me, the bug is still there…

Try the latest version 2.5.27 and see if any of the errors still occur.

Still having the same problem, i hope will be released really soon a patch or a fix… Thank’s again for the help!

Me too. Exactly the same problem. WP 3.3.1 and qTranslate 2.5.27.

anyone that knows a fix for this?

Qtranslates duplicates content of default language into secondary language after save for me.

Been going through the qtranslate files and still can’t find any solution.

The only temporary solution is to switch to html view and save from there.

If you save the post while in visual tab you’re default language content will be inserted into your secondary tab.

I’m having the same issues using 2.5.27 of the plugin with WP 3.3.1.

I have English and Chinese as the two languages of the site.

If I update English text with the Visual Editor…

    1. When the page reloads the English tab has my edit
    2. I then switch to the Chinese tab and it now has all content
(English stacked on top of my Chinese version)
    3. If I switch back to the English tab again it’s blank
    4. If I switch back to the Chinese tab it’s blank
    5. I then need to restore the last revision to get the content back.

For now, I’m just trying to avoid making any edits.

I had the duplications and now the content is simply disappearing…

    It is very annoying!

Did you try deactivating your plugins to see if it could come from there?

I upgraded only one 1 site, but I can’t make any changes on it!

I have more information about this bug: it will only happen if the content is starting by an HTML tag. For example, create a post with only an

      and it will bug

And I also found a fix! In qtranslate_javascript.php comment the following line (line 85) :

    result['".$language."'] += blocks[i];

But the problem is, this might also break something? I don’t know if this line is useful, but as far as i tested, everything works!

Please try it and tell me!
