Awesome suggestion! We’ve actually already had this one in the pile, so look out for it in an upcoming release.

Hello! I would also like to highly suggest this!! Rather uninstall WordPress Editorial Calendar and use just Edit Flow but in the meantime we like to create posts through the calendar.

Otherwise we love Edit Flow!! =) Thanks.

+1 This would be very useful

I would rather see more than this. I just added EditFlow today. Why can’t we use the calendar as, say, a calendar where we can post ideas on a day as a reminder of a post or story idea where we would create the post later? It makes little sense to create posts so they show-up in the calendar if there is a chance they may not ever be posted. I suppose this could be part of the story budget. Just a thought. I like the EditFlow concept!

Our editors recently made this request, namely to add quickly ideas and drafts via the calendar. They are Google Calendar users to they like the idea of adding a headline to stub out future posts. I can get you in touch with our managing editor if you’d like to hear more of a use case. Also if you’ve already know what direction to go here and need development help let me know.

Awesome to hear. I totally understand the use case — it’s just missing development effort st this time. If you or Ben wanted to spend a few hours on it, I’d be happy to chat through how you might approach it.
