  • Hi almasig,
That is interesting. I didn’t have this issue and nobody contacted me with similar one.
Just few questions to clarify the situation:
    1. What version of WP and AAM you are using?
    2. Do you have a red message with JavaScript Error on Access Manager Page?
    3. What other plugins related to access control you are using?

    Regards,
    Vasyl

    WP3.3.1 & AAM 1.5.5
No error message during install everything went well!
    No other plugins at all!

user-edit.php -> the modification of the user priviliges is not allowed (its in hungarian so I translate it not the exact messeage!

Ok. Probably you are not a super admin. Did you see a message when you first time entered Access Manager page with text that Super Admin Role will be created for you…?
I believe you set some capability for new Role that does not allow you to create user with that role.

I did not get that message, yes it could be the problem I’m not using multisite so my Role is just admin!

It does not matter. AAM creates Super Admin Role which is different from Multisite Super Admin.
Try to find in options table next parameter wpaccess_sa_dialog and delete it. Then go to Access Manager page. It should show the message

there is no parameter in options table like this

Ok it seems the problem is solved – it is caused by the special hungarian characters…

    oh. Thanks for the info.
I was planning to do something with UTF-8 support but totally forgot about it.
    Have a good one,
    Vasyl
