• It`s totally unexpected, because I never had problems with that.
Language file repository now doesnt contain Lithuanian version (probably its a little outdated), so I tried the new Glotpress translation interface. I was lucky to guess, that by registering and logging in, Ill find an export link for translation at the end of strings list. But alas, the exported file doesn`t work! Even when renamed correctly…
How do you deal with that? Why getting a .mo file became so complicated?

  • I don’t know why, but there is indeed no Lithuanian directory on the WordPress languages files repository and on GlotPress, the Lithuanian translation progress is marked at 0%.

However, I found a link in the codex. It sends here where it seems that you can find updated translations files. I do not read Lithuanian… Maybe you can ask the author who makes a great work why he does not put the files on the WordPress languages repository. In my opinion, it’s a shame because it makes them less easy to find for users (and even less easy for plugins which try to download files automatically as I do for Polylang).
