[slideshow] button not appearing in media uploader?

Hi,

I’m trying to insert a slideshow into my blog:http://www.jasonalden.com/site/index.php/news/

but, once I’ve uploaded the 10 pictures via media uploader there is no option to “insert slideshow”. The images are attached so I tried typing it in and that doesn’t work. I did manage to get it working with a different plugin [simple_slideshow] but it’s not quite as elegant as the the WP one. I’m really confused as all the tutorials are telling me to click a button that doesn’t exist!!

I’m all up to date with the latest version of WP. Appologies if this has already been posted but I can’t find it anywhere.
