More tag not showing up in post but is in html | WordPress.org

Hi I’m trying to use the more tag to separate my post and it shows up on html but not on the post page. Even when I just go to http://www.lifeislikeablogofchocolate.com outside of my dashboard it doesn’t appear. Could someone offer help on resolving this? THanks

In other words you want to see the_excerpt on your home page?

In pages it doesn’t work. Are you using some special page template in home page?

no. It used to work because I added it to old posts. Yes I want to see the excerpt on my home page.

I just have the wordpress 2010 theme. No special template in the home page

That’s weird. In category archives “more” works.

No idea. Might be an affect of some plugin.
Check the link “More tag ignored on home page” here. But I am not sure that will help.
