Bright Page Theme Tweak: Supress Image from Post Excerpt on Home Page

    Is it possible to stop the featured image from appearing on the home page? I like this theme, but if there’s a featured image in the first post, the same image appears twice on the home page — once in the banner and once in the post excerpt.

    How do I suppress the featured image from the post excerpt?

    Do you need a featured image? if not just remove/detach it from the post.

    Otherwise please post a link, might be possible to hide with css.

    I successfully removed that “featured image preview” within the loop by going to post-excerpt.php and removing <?php the_post_thumbnail('post-image', array('class' => 'imgthumb')); ?>

    yes, it can show up in the main loop, archives.php or even single.php like in the custom community theme.
