    Oh, and the Flash Uploader gives me the HTTP Error whilst the Browser Uploader opens up a :

    ” 404 Error ,
    The requested URL was not found on this server. “

    So, its proving to be very hard to run a portfolio site this way.

    The whole issue needs to bee closely looked at as, you are not the only one having these issues…. if you are a trusting soul, you can give write permissions to your wp-content folder/directory the same as the uploads folder…

    It would be a good idea for you to remove write privileges on your theme and plugins folders as, you don’t want anyone messing with either of those two (theme or plugins that is)…

    Have you attempted to upload using IE 9 yet? If so, please let me know if you are actually seeing the “Drag and Drop” feature as, I am not seeing that using IE 9, 8, or 7. I only see the drop and drag while using Chrome… this is definitely a java/php issue to which, many have not narrowed it down yet…
