• Hi, I’m trying to include this fantastic plugin a new website, which need access restricted by groups. Each group will have access to a different category.

To restrict such access, I use the plugin Role Scope and All-in-one-events Calendar works almost perfect within this other plugin.

Just I find a problem. In the calendar view, it show all events without restricting any category. When you access the details view, the restriction is activated correctly, but in the calendar view no restricction is used, and private events are shown.

Anybody know any system to avoid this problem?

    Thank you very much.

  • The details view is using a standard WP post method for displaying, so it would follow rules just as any other page.
The calendar view, however, is much more custom and would need some modifying to work as you wish. The fact that it shows private events is a bug and will be worked on.
For the full compatibility with a plugin like Role Scope, it would have to be researched further what exact work this would take to integrate, and whether it follows the private event bug or is more of a separate feature request

I am trying to do exactly the same as AntoniDG. I would love to have this feature working.

I also would love to have this feature working. I’m using Role Scoper to create groups and would like the display of the events in the calendar to change based on the group(s) to which the logged-in user belongs.

Desired behavior / use case for an organizational website:

    – For a generic website visitor, the main calendar shows events appropriate for public display to all users

    – When a board member logs in, the calendar also shows those events appropriate only for board members

I’m open to workarounds that would achieve something similar. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
