    AJ includes page templates for all column layouts – BUT, you can only use page templates that have the same number or FEWER columns than your global setting (this may change in the next update since WordPress 3.3 includes some really cool changes with how sidebars work at a technical level).

    This means the solution for the current version of AJ is a bit tedious:

    1. In Appearance > Theme Options, choose a 3-column layout
    2. For every one of your pages that you want a 2-column layout, select the 2-Column option from the “Page Templates” dropdown

    This does mean that you have to manually apply the template to each of your pages, but at the moment it’s the only way to mix 3-column and 2-column templates.

    Thank you! I also solved my menu issue using Display widgets.
