    Good afternoon,
I can’t log inn anymore on my website http://doorlopendkredietaanvraag.nl after I changed the funtion.php in the editor. This change I made to the funtion.php did’nt work and I put it back in exact the same syntaxes as it wash before and updated the editor. Now I can’t log inn to my website anymore or go to the wp-admin site. The only thing I get is a error screen with the following message: unexpected T_GLOBAL in /home/lenborg/public_html/wp-content/themes/socrates/functions.php on line 82. I have tried everything to log inn to the wp-admin page but nothing works. What can I do to log inn again and to solve the problem with the error message? What went wrong when I made changes at the editor in function.php and how do I reset the editor to the right syntaxes? Please, help

  • Ftp the functions.php to overwrite the file and click ok.

if you still cannot login, reset your plugin folder.
    this may help you..

    Good Morning

    Thank you for your reply.

The problem is not solved yet. I did go to phpMyAdmin and tryed to find wp_options under the option_name column, but I can’t find it. I’m not a expierienced blogger and this wash the first time I used phpMyAdmin. Can you please help me and give some more information about how I can get into the wp_options and where to find the option_name column? Thank you in advance. I’m a bid desperate and confused right now.

Maybe it’s easier to reset your plugin folder and to upload a fresh downloaded functions.php from your theme by using FTP or the file manager provided in your host’s control panel.

    Good afternoon,

    Thanks for your reply.

I have done the two methods to deactivate all plugins, by using phpMyAdmin and via FTP. The option_value for plugins wash already on a:0:{} and that off course didn”t change anything. And via the FTP of the host control panel I changed the folder to plugins.hold and try to open wp-admin on my blog, but no luck. I reset back the plugins folder to plugins and hope you know some more tricks for me to solve this problems.

    Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
