In the plugin settings, I have selected “Image from page” but when I try to share a post on Facebook, the only image available as a thumbnail is the Gravatar logo, which is not even in use on my site.

The settings were changed after some posts were published and now the images only work on the new posts, not the older ones. Example here: http://www.sparklogix.com/the-top-10-viral-videos-of-2011/

This has been extremely frustrating, what can be done to get the post images to show up as the share image? Thanks!

Hi sparklogix, I have the same problem. Am using the Mingle theme and am also still looking for a solution…

UPDATE: Have since found that *new* posts actually work, after setting the share image to “use from post” – it´s only old posts that it doesn´t work with.

It was working or it would not show the logo image. When you change to another setting facebook will take up to 24hours to notice. They cache everything. So page/posts that were shared before have 24hours to time out before facebook picks up the latest image
