testing update services

    Is there an easy way to check if the update service via pingomatic works? At least the obvious, a search on technorati, did not bring up any of my posts.

    I am using wp1.5.2 and have http://rpc.pingomatic.com/ listed as the only update service.

    Any hints appreciated.
