• I have a client that I am setting up his site in WordPress. He is requesting to have a product listing page in a grid format with descriptive text under each image. When you click on the image you get a popup of any sort that can support multiple images in the popup. Is there anything out there that can do this with a plugin, whether it be a product plugin or a gallery plugin? I would love for it to support multiple layouts but that is not totally required.

Second I need a plugin that does a “related links” page of sorts where the editor of the site can just put in related web page links with an image, and this can be reflected on the site, if not I can just do this manually in html.

    Please help 🙂

  • I’ve recently had success using the WP e-Commerce plugin on my own site, so I’d check that out for listing products. Althought that might not be what you want unless you also need a shopping cart and checkout process.

For the second plugin, I would recommend just sticking to a simple WordPress page. No need to introduce plugins where the core can handle it 🙂

How do I natively use the built in link code? I want my user to just be able to insert links then I can show them on a page via category.
