I am unable to click any links I have made in my WordPress ‘pages’.
The links respond to mouseover, but cannot be clicked and the cursor thinks they are just text.

Links posted in ‘Posts’, or in the header/footer do work.

I figured this was a z-index issue or other DIV margin/padding conflicts, but when I switch to the default Twenty Eleven theme the problems remain.

Since it is not caused by CSS conflicts, what is causing this problem?

PS. I cannot show you the blog in question since I am currently developing it locally via MAMP.

    Thanks for any help!

  • Hi kuran. I’m guessing this issue is probably caused by a plugin since it does not work with the default theme. Have you tried disabling all of your plugins to see if this resolves the issue? If it does, enable each plugin one by one until you find the one that is causing the issue.

Also, even though we cannot see your site, can you use pastbin to show us what the html code looks like for one of your links?

Thanks Brad, it is indeed caused by one of my plugins. I will move the discussion to the relevant board. Thanks again!

Hi kuran, glad you’re close to getting this one resolved! Let us know if by chance we can help with anything else.
