Edit Image removes the rest of my post

    I’ve been trying repeatedly to edit images in a post. It’s easy to insert an image, but the simple insertion doesn’t set a margin around it, so I click the image and the ‘edit image’ icon. This takes me to a popup where I can adjust the image size and margin. But when I click to save the changes it returns me to the post with everything after the image deleted. I’ve tried it several times with different images and it’s always the same. If I use the browser back button it reloads the ‘edit post’ screen with the post intact but the image as it was before the edit.

    I’m on the latest version of WordPress with no plugins to do with images.

    Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug?
