W3 Total Cache reports wp-content is write-able, but permissions are 705
-
I’m getting the following message on the settings panel:
/home/username/domain.com/wp-content is write-able. When finished installing the plugin, change the permissions back to the default: chmod 755 /home/username/domain.com/wp-content.
My FTP client and some security check plugins report that the folder permission is properly set to 705.
Why would this happen?
