Support » Plugin: Timely All-in-One Events Calendar » [Plugin: All-in-One Event Calendar] Category Colors

  • I’m using v1.1.3 of the plugin and can’t seem to get the category colors to work. Every time I set the color during category creation or even an edit of the category, it never sets the color. I’ve checked the permission of the css folder and the files in the css folder and they all appear to be set correctly; 755/644 respectively. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

The color of categories is saved to the database.
When you set a color, do you see the selected color when you try to edit the category?

No, I sure don’t. It always has the checkered flag type look with offsetting white and grey blocks.

hm, what is your WP version?

BTW, not sure if it matters, but I did change the prefix; so, it’s not wp_. I changed the prefix many days before installing the plugin. None of my other plugins have an issue. Regardless, I thought I would mention it.

Okay, I don’t know how to explain this. I went to lunch, came back and started trying to set the colors on the categories and now all of a sudden I can set the color. I made ZERO changes between when I was trying it and now. It’s a complete @#$@#$ mystery to me as to why it’s working now.

🙂 well, good to hear either way. Sometimes these things just happen!

I continue to have the problem of not being able to set a color for the category. I see the color I select, then update the category, but the color does not stay selected. All categories are automatically set to a custom color.

I have managed a work around by manually editing the color hex# in the SQL database for the categories.
