If you don’t see a password it means your comments.php file does not use the comment_form function that would allow the plugin to automatically insert the password field in the comment form, as is explained at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/spam-free-wordpress/installation/

This could be why you also had a problem with the Math Reloaded plugin http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-block-spam-by-math-reloaded-dont-show-the-math-form-in-comments?replies=1

    Here’s how I can help:

Post all the code from your comments.php file at http://pastebin.com/, then post a link to that pastebin code here. I will reply with a pastbin link that will contain the modified code you can use to replace your existing comments.php code.

If you read any of the requests for support you can see your problem is not uncommon, and is also not an indication that the plugin is broken.

“No Password Fields” Also don’t forget, like I did, that you get no password fields when logged in, it is quite natural to do your initial test after installing the plugin still logged in as admin …. so like a dope I thought – “no password fields” so i installed it in correctly?- but of course it was just because I was logged in!!!
