WordPress API code?

    Ok, I want to install Askimet but I need a WordPress API Key. I’ve tried to register 3 times! with wordpress and I still haven’t gotten an e-mail back yet. How the heck can I get one???

    P.S. The API code is going to be used for my other website, not the blog I registered with WordPress. Is that ok?

    You’re registering with WordPress.COM, right? If so, then you don’t have much choice but to hang loose and wait for the email. Their forums are at http://wordpress.com/forums if you want to see what’s going on there.

    And yes, you can (have to, actually) use that API with your self-hosted wordpress (org) blog.
