[Plugin: MailChimp Widget] Quick Question

    James,

    Using your plugin (thanks by the way) and just had a question about something I noticed. When someone uses the form to signup and completes by hitting the signup/join button, if they then leave that page and go to another page the form will still be visible in the sidebar. But if that user was to return to the page they were on when they physically signed up, the form is gone from the sidebar.

    Any ideas on how to remedy that? I’d like to keep the form always visible but if it’s easier to have it disappear after a signup, that’s fine but I’d like it to disappear from all pages.

    Hi dscouron,

    That’s an interesting issue, and not one I can easily reproduce… Could you tell me which browser/operating system you’re on? The intended behavior is for the form to go away after a successful sign up, since your users presumably don’t want to sign up more than once. If that behavior isn’t showing up consistently across your site, though, then that’s a bug.
