Contributor permissions in plug-ins

    Hi,

    I have set on my wordpress blog that any new member is a contributor and can also write an article. I created an testing account to check what are the capabilities of such a person and I found that he has access to a few plug-ins and specifically to the following:

    • Tweet Button
    • Facebook Like Button
    • Facebook Open Graph

    The first has it’s own menu while the other two are under the settings menu.
    My question is, how can I set rules to specific plug-ins so the contributor cannot see them or edit them?

    Hey I know you posted a few years ago about wrapping another site into a word press site like you can in Joomla, did you ever find a solution?

    Yes I did it last year :), actually 14 months ago.
    I checked how the joomla posts are stored in the database then how they are stored in the wordpress database and a wrote a php function to do the transfer.
    There are some migration tools too, but they didn’t work in my case due to the Greek language of my blog.
