• When I went to install XCloner I received the following error message:

Installing Plugin from uploaded file: xcloner-backup-and-restore 3.0.41.zip unable to locate WordPress Content directory (wp-content)

Looking at my site which is just a temporary folder for a customer to review their site, the root of the site is in this folder called blog, so the full url is http://www.geosz.com/blog
looking at my folder structure it looks like geosz/httpdocs/blog and wp-content does exist under blog with permissions set to rwx r-x r-x

Can anyone tell me what the problem is but more importantly how to fix it.

    thanks

    george

I’m surprised at the lack of any reply to this…. the guy at XCloner suggested that I extracted the zip file myself and copied it into the plugins folder which I have done and I can now see the plugin in the admin plugin section and have activated it.

Cool plugin folk…. just check settings – it will tell you if you need to set folders and permissions…
