I’m a real newbie, came over from Typepad (not pro, so very little template experience.)

    My site

    http://herablehands.com

is displaying fine in Firefox, and Safari, and on my Mac shows fine in IE. But I keep getting emails from regular readers on PC’s using IE who say they can only see the banner, and the page draws with no scrolling sidebar so they can’t even scroll down to see if the content has been knocked to the bottom.

I’m at the end of my knowledge here, and would love any hints! Thank you in advance!

    Kelly

I had searched the forums first, and none of the issues matched mine. I did just come across a posting recommending using the markup validation service, so will now attempt to unravel the 100 errors in my code. Talk about foreign language immersion!

You have an !important CSS rule, part of your Flickr stuff, that sets the page colour and text colour the same, or inherits it from somewhere previously. The javascript it’s setting underneath that lookjs suspect as well.

Your page is all there in IE, just it’s all white.

Okay, thank you IIIIIIIV, I’m not sure what !important CSS rule means, though. The javascript underneath is google ads,

can I ask you to tell me what I should change specifically? Should I change something in the way I request the flickr stuff to code before I put it on my site?

    thanks so much!
