Not possible at the moment without directly hacking the plugin. I advise you wait a few weeks because in version 5 it’ll be the same way you’d add custom columns to the posts tables for example (which is possible).
Marcus,
Thanks for the reply.
We’ve hacked the plugin for a variety of features now and unfortunately lost the possibility of upgrades.
Although we eventually will try to use version 5, its probably gonna be a while till we can replicate all the features for version 5 we hacked into our current version.
With that in mind, it would be a very big help if you could give us a hint where to start adapting the plugin (4.083) in order to get another column on that table/page.
We are looking to add the event owner for every event with this additional column.
Your help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Georgie
if you want to hack the plugin directly, since you’re already doing it – admin/em-events.php
Just curious… how is this different than adding a column to the Events html (header and body) sections in the Settings page? I have used this to add a thumbnail image as well as tweak the Date and Time fields in the Events list table.
Thanks,
MediocreFred.
am confused now, i thought you meant the admin area. are you trying to modify the front pages?
the front end is modifyable via the template in the templates folder – http://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/using-template-files
atm the admin area isn’t, it’s hard coded in the plugin and there’s no way to override it without hacking the plugin.
