[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] PLEASE HELP! Using NextGen with SUBDOMAINS

I’ve posted prior to this and I didn’t receive any response and I could really use some help! I have an unlimited hosting account at GoDaddy and I have multiple sites hosted that are WordPress sites. Each site is set up as subdomains with a domain redirect. I can’t get NextGen to work properly on these sites. I was told by GoDaddy that NextGen must be in the root to work. Is that true? Is there a way to get NextGen to work on a shared hosting situation? Any help is greatly appreciated.
