[Plugin: Co-Authors Plus] Can I have the pulldown rather than the jquery autofill?

    We’re secretly frustrated by the jquery, which only searches usernames.

    Our usernames are all first initial, last name. Typing a first name won’t call up the user. I think we’d be much happier with a plain old pulldown. Is it possible to get that back? (Or to get the jquery to look at the first and last name fields?)

    Yeah, the search is a bit weak right now. With one of the recent updates, I switched it lean more toward better performance than more accurate searches. I’ll see if we can find a good middle ground.

    Just committed a fix so that the query searches against display_name instead of user_nicename (which was essentially the same as user_login). This will make searching much nicer. The improvement will be available in v2.6
