WP crashes to 404 page when saving a post

    Running with Genesis Framweork. Recently when adding a post and saving – either as draft or publish – the system returns a 404 error code. What would cause WP to do that? My MySQL is version 4, so I probably should upgrade that. In fact, to upgrade my 3.1 I will have to do that. Would that be related?

    First place I’d look is either the theme or the plugins. Deactivate all your plugins ans switch to a default theme like Twenty Eleven, and see if you’re still having the problem.
