• This is a strange one. I mean, really strange. It may just be a Technorati screw up, but I’m wondering if anyone’s seen this before.

A couple of days ago, an older post (from September 2005) of mine showed up as a new incoming link in the Dashboard, where it pulls in the Technorati data. I had not edited this post or run any upgrades – just poof, one day Technorati decided it was a new post and a new link into my site.

I would have just ignored it, except that it seems to be showing up in other people’s Technorati profiles too – other blogs that I link to (in the sidebar) show this old post as a new link in. I first noticed this because in my stats I saw visits from several other WP blogs with the referring URL as xxxxxx.com/wp-admin, but indeed, it’s showing up on the Technorati profile for every blog I link to.

Any one seen anything like this before? (I’m not entirely hopeful for an answer, but I’m curious.)
