Hi! I have WP 3.2.1 and 46 build of Lazyest Gallery.

I’m testing the migration from NextGen Gallery to your awesome plugin. BUt I have found a bug.

If I load Image without comments (as it appears here i have 1 sec loading) if I try to coment it – have 5, then 9, 13, 15 seconds – after only 4 or 5 comments! This is extremly slow! Here you can see it
Is this by design or some mistake in a code?

I want to use your plugin and not NGG because you have comments feature, but in fact I cannot use it 🙁

This is a know down side of the plugin.
All image info is stored in text files in the folders. Every comment has to be matched against these text files. This will take (too) long when you have many images/folders.
Version 1.1 will have a new, speedier, comment algorithm.

I have only 55 folders… And I think that it’s not very much… I want to upload about 200-300 galleries (I love trips and MTB a lot 😉 in next 2-3 years with 5-300 images in it.

Would LazyestG be apropriate solution for this? I want to migrate but this can stop me 🙁

If you really need comments NOW, LG isn’t the appropriate solution.
    Please wait for version 1.1.0

    Hm, ok, I understand.

When are you planning to release 1.1.0 version?

Can you please tell some more information about planning comments system? What are the diffs about today version?

P.s. I have some more questions about your great plugin. Where you’d like to hear my questions and bug reports – here or at home of the plugin? 🙂

And the most important question – if I’ll start to use Lazyest Gallery now – will my comments to the galleries and images stay with me after upgrade? 🙂

Or I need to start from scratch?

Cannot stop reading you blog about bugs and features, NGG in comparing with you is a stupid child 🙂

All comments, captions and descriptions will be preserved when you upgrade to a new version.
BTW, I can’t guarantee the upgrade procedure works flawlessly in beta versions.

    Ok, thanks!

Hope 1.1 would come rather fast 🙂

BTW, where can I find working beta version? I’ve tried to install 1.1-beta-7 and Development ver and no go – 500 error.
Or may be where a some needed steps to do it but just rewriting plugin with new version?

A link to the development version is on the download page. Do you have any error log entries for the 500 error?
