It really depends on what theme you are running…more than likely single.php
I’m running the Silver Ray theme. Single.php?
It is a theme file…
If that doesn’t make sense – then you are probably in over your head.
Does it make sense?
LOL I know what the single.php file is, I was asking if it’s indeed the single.php file that this code needs to be added to, considering the theme I’m using…
Sorry to bug you again, but I added the code to the Single.php file, and the ad isn’t showing up. According to the code, it’s supposed to be showing up in the upper left hand corner of the post.
Here’s a link to what my single.php looks like: http://pastebin.com/yc6NvYX8
There is an adsense ad in the article…is that the one you put there?
That’s a different one. I created a function that I call in the text of the post to insert that one (the one you see) wherever I choose.
I made this thread regarding one I’m trying to insert automatically at the top-left hand corner of the post.
Thanks a lot. I installed the All in One Adsense and YPN, and I configured it to show an ad in the upper left hand corner of the posts. As you can see, the space is reserved for the ad, but it’s blank.
I set this up and noticed this issue about 8 hours ago, and figured I’d give it some time, but the issue still exists.
In the configuration settings for the All in One Adsense Plug in in WordPress, I have the publisher ID entered, without the “pub-” prefix, so I’m not sure why it’s showing up blank. Any ideas? Thanks for the help, and the suggestion.
