Twenty Eleven- embedded video hides drop down menu

Hi there,

I’m having the issue that my videos hide the items in my menus when i hover over them (layering issue). I know it can be fixed with this code

<iframe title=”YouTube video player” width=”640″ height=”390″ src=”http://www.youtube.com/embed/lZqrG1bdGtg?wmode=opaque&#8221; frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>

(ie. add the ?wmode=opaque) but I don’t want to change this code for each video and more importantly, I need other authors who are afraid of code to not have to do this in the future.

Someone else has suggested automating this process with jquery, but I’m a real beginner when it comes to code and I need step-by-step instructions on where and how to insert this code- I really don’t know anything about jquery.

Can someone help me with this please?
