Hide Media Library Objects not uploaded by current user.

Is there anyway to only allow an author to see the media they uploaded to the media library when adding media to a page or post and not have access to everything in the media library.

I want to allow authors to upload pdf files and videos or images to posts they create, but not have access to everything that anyone else has uploaded. I have tried the Adminimize plugin, but can only hide access to the media from the dashboard. Once they choose ad new page or post and upload a file they can then see everything in the media library.
