[Plugin: Online Backup for WordPress] No back up after upgrading to WP 3.2.1 and Manual gives error

    Hi jpdeboer,

    Can you login to FTP and make sure the following directory exists? Create if you can.
    httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/wponlinebackup/tmp/full

    If you then get access is denied errors you will need to change the permissions of the folder to 770, and failing that, 777.

    Did all that, but now got this error:

    Failed to resolve the WordPress parent folder path, /home/httpd/vhosts/webinstijl.nl/httpdocs/..: 2: realpath() [function.realpath]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/httpd/vhosts/webinstijl.nl) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/httpd/vhosts/webinstijl.nl/httpdocs:/tmp).

    Any ideas?

    Hi jpdeboer,

    Your server is heavily restricted and we never accounted for open_basedir restrictions so tightly applied.

    We’re going to implement some adjustments to the plugin in the next version to account for the possibility of this restriction so it should work on the next version.
    Until then I’m afraid there isn’t much we can do to get it working on your server.
