• I am not sure if this is the correct place for this or not but the Cube points forum never answers so I am prying my luck here. This question is directed at the “paid content” module. It allows an author to charge X amount of points for access to their posts. The only problem is the points then disappear into the ether. I need It to give those points to the author of the post. For example, Mr. A writes a post and charges 5 points to read it. Mr B pays the 5 points for the content. Mr. A then receives the 5 points. Here is the modules code.

[Code moderated as per the Forum Rules. Please use the pastebin]

If someone could simply tell me what part of the code takes the points away (for i am noobish) I could try to use the “donate” module and stitch together the bits that give points to other members. Sorry for the long message but I really am in dire need of assistance. Thank you for your time and any incite you may have.

    Bump!

I saw your question and if I believe I understand it correctly, you should look in the ‘Configure’ area of the CubePoints admin area. Once there, check out the ‘Paid Content’ section. You’ll see ‘Credit post author with points paid by user’ disabled. Click ‘Yes’ and voila. No need to mess with the code.

If this isn’t what you meant, I’ll try and help you further.
