    My Site is http://YourDreamPhysique.com

In the Theses section of the dashboard, I allowed all comments to show.

In the “Discussion” section I allow all comments to show.

But when I build a new post, there is no comments section at the bottom.

When I chose the setting to show “If comments are closed, display a message” and on the posts I make, it does show this.

But I have not disabled them! Argh!

And there are other posts that have a comments allowed.

If anyone can help me get a grip on this, it’d be great.

  • The option in “Discussion” only sets what new posts/pages are set to as default. Whether comments are open or not is actually controlled through one of the boxes available while you’re editing/creating a post/page. If you don’t see it, make sure it’s enabled in “Screen Options” at the top-right.

Ah! Ok I’ll try that! I know in the past, each page and post I was making used to ask me if I wanted to have comments or not. But that disappeared. Let me look for what you are describing. Thank you.

Ok I got is handled now.

Up On the top of my “Edit
    Post” page, I clicked on
    “Screen Options” then
    saw all the options that
    were DEactivated.
    One of them was “Discussions”

    Thank you Dig Bagel!
