If on 2.0.1, see the js fixit in the last couple of comments. Other problems, post back here.
When I look at my misc options tab I see “2.0 — 0.41 seconds” for the version. Does this mean I have the wrong version for the functionality I discuss above.
No, not at all. I never had quickpost installed on 2.0, only on 2.0.1, so I don’t know that it would mean needing the js tweak (I’d bet it would though….)
I did a bad job of reading the previous post. I will try quickpost. I love wordpress. Thanks for everyone’s help. I’m sure there is a link to make a donation which I will find and contribute.
Can you provide a link so I can see quickpost in action.
Only the one to the author’s site which is really just a graphic. I use quickpost on my own sites only for me, I don’t allow access to it to anyone else. So I have it set for only my user id, but you should be able to set it for anyone to use.
Just out of curiousity-Why does worepress allow you to comment from the front page, but in order to write a post you must login. I realize I can install the above quickpost, but I thought this functionality would have been part of the core WordPress product.
