Need Help with Widgets

    I’m having trouble changing some ads on my blog. I received this blog from someone else, so please excuse some of my stupidity.

    From what I understand, I should be able to change the display of my sidebars using the widgets.

    When I select “Widgets” I see sidebars 1 & 2 both active, but I don’t see any other sidebar options that contain the ads.

    What widgets are in your sidebars now?
    If you got the site from someone else, the sidebar ads might be plugins or maybe part of your theme options if you are using a premium theme.

    Thanks for your reply mamasheadtrip.

    I have (recent posts & pages) in sidebar 1, and I have (categories & archives) in sidebar 2. So I’m thinking you’re correct.

    I’ve looked through plugins, there’s Akismet, All in one SEO pack, Contact Form 7, Google SML Sitemaps, Hello Dolly, Most Commented Widget, Popularity Contest, and Sociable.

    I’m assuming it’s built in to the theme as you suggested? I’m using Gazette Edition 1.2.0 by WooThemes. How would I change my ad url’s?

    I am not familiar with the theme, can’t say offhand.
    You might want to try going to the Woo Themes website and contacting them for support…they are a solid company with a good rep.
    If you are feeling desperate, you can send me a temp password to my private email nym@techfreewebsites.com and I can take a look inside your dashboard and try to figure it out.

    I found it!

    On the dashboard, at the very bottom there was an link for “Gazette Edition Options” and the links for for the ad’s & ad url’s were there.

    Thanks for your help mamasheadtrip. I was searching the widgets & plugins, and didn’t even think it would be in the theme options.
