• Love the plugin — thanks very much, sincerely.

However, those of us who use it in conjunction with JW Player are alienating a large percentage of our audience because the Shadowbox plugin does not support HTML5. And that’s even if we are licensed JW Player owners — as I am.

There are workarounds that are very cumbersome — like using the JW WordPress Plugin to author a separate page — and then use Shadowbox to display that page.

But I’d like to respectfully request that support for the JW Player’s integrated HTML5 support be included in a future version.

    Thanks for listening.

    Hi Guys
I have just started using Shadowbox, which I think is awesome, but like blafarm I have a need to play .mp4 in JWplayer (not QT) (read in another of your posts) and I need to support HTML5 so that our videos can be viewed by everyone.

I notice that the latest version of JW Player is promoted as being for Flash & HTML5.

Does that mean that this fallback issue is resolved within the player now? I kind of assumed that if I could get the player to default to JW Player and that if it was playing .mp4 files (encoded as H264), then that would be fine on PCs, MACs, iPads, iPhones and everything else under the sun.

Am I right or do I need more?

    Thanks
