WP-shortstat breaking technorati ping

    I’m on WordPress 2 and with the wp-shortstat plugin, technorati can’t seem to ping my blog to update. For technorati to be able to ping my blog, either directly from wordpress interface, from ecto, or from my technorati account page, I have to first disable the wp-shortstat plugin and then ping my blog to update.

    anyone else have this problem or have a fix for it?

    or perhaps you have a better stats package for WP 2?
