The only scheduling WP to Twitter supports is with scheduled posts – you can schedule your posts and WP to Twitter will tweet when they are published.
Yes, this actually works pretty well. Just be aware that you’ll lose your custom Twitter text if you use quick edit.
I really like the custom Twitter post feature of this plugin, and had filled it in on a dozen posts that I had scheduled for a few weeks out. I then had to alter that schedule a bit and unfortunately realized too late that all my custom text had disappeared. I used the quick edit WP feature to change the dates, and that caused all custom Twitter post text to be deleted on those posts.
Other than that it’s a nice little plugin.

is there any progress on that topic? I’m very interested in scheduling tweets to a certain date after the blog post has been published.
