Basic Calendar setup

    I want to use this events calendar plugin and I have installed it but I can’t get it to work.

    To start with I just want to embed the calendar into one of my theme templates, is there a WP tag that will let me do this or do I have to do this via the Widgets option in admin?

    I’m new to WordPress but I find the documentation for this plugin lacking in useful detailed information.
