Modification to links manager

    I wonder if I can make some sort of modification to the links manager so that my description actually shows up (rather than as a tool tip) on the page, sort of like an a short annotation.

    -> Link blah
    This site is my gallery
    -> Chicken run
    this is where chickens.. run.

    In the WP-Admin section, go to: Links -> Link Categories, then click the “edit” link for the category you want to edit and on the edit screen, under the “Show” label, place a check-mark in the description box.
