• I have seen this issue on the forums, but none of the solutions I found resolved my problem.

I have downloaded and uploaded the latest version of WordPress into the root directory of my domain on the FTP. At first it was working properly, but after some changes in themes and settings, when I go to preview my site and when I go directly to the URL (www.livewellmkt.com), the browser tells me the page cannot be found.

Thinking it was a theme issue, I activated the default theme. Still not working.

Then I figured I may have done something to mess up a file so I completely uninstalled WordPress from my server and reinstalled it (fixing the config file and all) and low and behold, nothing has changed.

    Please help!

  • Looks like your index.php file is missing:

index.php is right there in the root.

Please help, I tried to auto update my worpress, but now my site is lost and I can not sign in wp-admin. I just keep getting this error message.

Fatal error: Call to undefined method Arras_Widget_Tag_Cloud::WP_Widget_Tag_Cloud() in /home/content/62/6092562/html/wp-content/themes/arras-theme/library/widgets.php on line 328

NEW DISCOVERY: If I change the index.php file to simply: <? echo “testing”; ?>, it works just fine and outputs “testing”. I have tried to download older versions of wordpress and replace the index.php file but that has done no use.

Solution: Uninstall wordpress, clear database info, reinstall wordpress.
