Could someone take a look at my site and tell me how I can improve the categories pages? I want each category page to basically show the post as it shows up on the main page, but I’m just not sure what I need to change about it.

    Never mind, problem solved. Thanks

Could you post what you did so the next poor guy might be able to find it and get sorted too, please?

all I did was copy and paste the template code from the main index template that shows posts and put that in place of the code that shows posts in the category/archive pages… but I think I messed it up anyway because now there’s a bit of a nesting problem.

If you could explain more clearly what you wanted maybe we could help. Do you mean you wanted the whole content on the category archives pages and not only the_excerpt?

All you have to do is to replace the_excerpt tag with the_content in the file that is displaying your archives. It could be category.php, archive.php or index.php – >> see Template_Hierarchy.

What I wanted to do was make the entire display of the categories page exactly like the display of the index page. I achieved that by basically copying the code on the index page that makes the posts display the way they do and then putting that in the category page in place of the code that was already there. So I achieved what I wanted to, but I must have messed up when I was copying and pasting because now there’s a bit of an alignment problem.
