I have created a Custom portfolio post type and I can’t seem to find the correct plugin that will display the featured image of each portfolio post type in an image menu. I have styled the Accordion Image Menu to fit into my site and the links are proper, however I can’t get the featured image to show in the menu. Advice would be great.

I don’t think that this plugin can use the featured image: the website says:
“The plugin uses the medium size image attached to post and pages
The menu uses the top image from the posts/pages gallery”
Accordion Image Menu is not picking up the top images in my nextgen galleries so I added feature images, which were not picked up either.
If there is not already a workaround for this, it would be a welcome addition to the next release!
